Happy Holidays from Boat Dreams!
We should take a moment to reflect and appreciate the place in which we live. The photo in this post was shot on December 12, 2007 in South Pasadena Florida (near St. Petersburg Beach).
When you can go on a Christmas decoration photo assignment in shorts and a T-Shirt... And find a marina with boats decorated for the season with marine air-conditioners purring along keeping the live aboard inhabitants cool in the midday heat of over 85 degrees, you are living and working in a wonderful place. Sure... Snow and Ice would be a more traditional setting for the holidays... And we do hear from transplants from the North about the beauty of the change of seasons...
But does anyone really believe that shovelling snow is a better way to spend the day?
Lets hope Santa finds your gangway in good cheer!
Happy Holidays!

Huge Waves as Ferry Leaves Port - Amazing Footage
Another wonderful video for those who do not know about the real power of the sea!
And this is a video showing the weakness of man and how several small mistakes can lead up to an amazingly bad situation. If you own a vessel of any size, you should be aware that this can happen to you.
